RESOLUTION NO. 12

 

AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT WITH HARRISON AND BURROWES BRIDGE CONSTRUCTORS, INC. REGARDING THE KRUMKILL ROAD BRIDGE OVER NORMANSKILL CREEK BRIDGE REHABILITATION PROJECT IN THE TOWN OF BETHLEHEM

WHEREAS, The Commissioner of the Department of Public Works has requested authorization to enter into an agreement with Harrison and Burrowes Bridge Constructors, Inc. regarding the Krumkill Road Over Normanskill Creek Bridge Rehabilitation Project in the Town of Bethlehem in an amount not to exceed $1,279,128 for a term commencing March 1, 2024 and ending August 31, 2024, and

 

WHEREAS, The Department of Public Works, through the County Purchasing Agent, issued a request for bids regarding the Krumkill Road Bridge Over Normanskill Creek Bridge Rehabilitation Project in the Town of Bethlehem, and one bid was received, and

 

WHEREAS, The Department Engineering Staff and Creighton Manning Engineering, LLP reviewed said bid and recommended awarding the contract to Harrison and Burrowes Bridge Constructors, Inc. based on price, qualifications, and certifications as outlined by Creighton Manning Engineers, now, therefore, be it

 

RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that the County Executive is authorized to enter into an agreement with Harrison and Burrowes Bridge Constructors, Inc., Glenmont, NY 12077 regarding the Krumkill Road Over Normanskill Creek Bridge Rehabilitation Project in the Town of Bethlehem in an amount not to exceed $1,279,128 for a term commencing March 1, 2024 and ending August 31, 2024, and, be it further

 

RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said agreement as to form and content, and, be it further

 

RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
