AUTHORIZING AGREEMENTS REGARDING THE HEALTHY FAMILIES HOME VISITING PROGRAM

WHEREAS, The Commissioner of the Department for Children, Youth and Families has requested authorization to enter into an agreement with the New York State Office of Children and Family Services regarding the Healthy Families Home Visiting Program in an amount not to exceed $1,225,025 for a term commencing July 1, 2023 and ending June 30, 2024, and
WHEREAS, The Commissioner has also requested authorization to enter into an agreement with Parsons Child and Family Center regarding the Healthy Families Home Visiting Program in an amount not to exceed $511,423 for a term commencing July 1, 2023 and ending June 30, 2024, and
WHEREAS, The Healthy Families Home Visiting Program will provide intensive home visits to pregnant women and new parents residing in designated areas, targeting those who require assistance in enhancing parenting skills and accessing family support, now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that the County Executive is authorized to enter into an agreement with the New York State Office of Children and Family Services regarding the Healthy Families Home Visiting Program in an amount not to exceed $1,225,025 for a term commencing July 1, 2023 and ending June 30, 2024, and, be it further
RESOLVED, That the County Executive is also authorized to enter into agreement with Parsons Child and Family Center, Albany, NY 12208 regarding the Healthy Families Home Visiting Program in an amount not to exceed $511,423 for a term commencing July 1, 2023 and ending June 30, 2024, and, be it further
RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said agreements as to form and content, and, be it further
