AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT WITH ECKERT MECHANICAL, LLC REGARDING MECHANICAL CONSTRUCTION FOR THE SHAKER PLACE GARAGE AND PARKING LOT EXTENSION PROJECT

By Public Works Committee:

 

WHEREAS, The Executive Director of the Department of Residential Healthcare Facilities has requested authorization to enter into an agreement with Eckert Mechanical, LLC regarding mechanical construction for the Shaker Place Garage and Parking Lot Extension Project in an amount not to exceed $1,490,729 for a term commencing March 1, 2024 and ending February 28, 2026, and

 

WHEREAS, The Department, through the Purchasing Agent, issued a request for bids for mechanical construction regarding the aforementioned project, and six bids were received, and

 

WHEREAS, After a review of said bids the Facilities Engineering Division has recommended awarding the contract to Eckert Mechanical, LLC as the lowest responsible bidder, now, therefore, be it

 

RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that the County Executive is authorized to enter into an agreement with Eckert Mechanical, LLC, Albany, NY 12205 regarding mechanical construction for the Shaker Place Garage and Parking Lot Extension Project in an amount not to exceed $1,490,729 for a term commencing March 1, 2024 and ending February 28, 2026, and, be it further

 

RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said agreement as to form and content, and, be it further

 

RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
